Welcome to the Doc Ock / Tentacles fanlisting, destined to be "unofficial" in TFL.org's eyes, but I love this site and I'm keepin' it. Plus, thanks to great Ock communities at Livejournal and DeviantArt, people are coming to my site and joining! Yay! Anyway, in case you haven't figured it out, this FL/shrine is dedicated to the relationship between Doc Ock (ne Otto Octavius) and the artificial intelligence that he programmed into the tentacles and later succumbed to. (The tentacles are rather child-like and did not mean to hurt Octavius; they thought it best for their "father" to continue the work for which they were created. And if people got hurt along the way, well...) Below I have transcribed some of the best scenes from Peter David's excellent novelization of the movie, in which the relationship is further fleshed out.
